PAYMENTS

If you receive a call from someone chasing payment of an invoice, please share the details to accountslondon@creativebloodagency.com. Our accounts department will check and update directly.

SAME DAY PAYMENTS

For same day payments please email the invoice, job number, and detail of service (e.g stylist) to your Executive Producer. They will share with the accounts department and arrange for a same day payment to be made. You will then be sent payment confirmation to share with the supplier.

The cut off deadline for same day payments is 3:00pm. Any payments requested after this time will be made the following day.

Please note, same day payments can only be made if the advance invoice has been paid by the client.

WEEKLY PAYMENTS

The Creative Blood weekly payment run usually takes place on a Monday.

It is not enough just to save invoices in the shared drive. Any invoices that need to be included in the weekly payment run must be emailed to our accounts department.

All weekly payments need to be approved by Laura Conway. Our accounts department will know on a Monday which invoices have been authorised for payment. Please note that the payment terms differ from job to job. Please make your suppliers aware of the specific payment terms that relate to your job.

The cut off deadline for adding invoices to the weekly payment run is midday on Thursday.

Payments are made by BACS, which means the payment will have cleared the suppliers account 2 working days after the payment date.

PAYROLL

Payroll is processed by an external company once a month. Please submit any invoices that need to be included on the monthly pay run to our accounts department no later than 3 days before the last working day of the month. The payments are made on the 5th of every month.

Sub contractors

All sub-contractors need to complete ‘New Starter Form’ before they can be paid. This needs to include their UTR. If they are not registered as self-employed they will need to be paid through the payroll.

If a sub-contractor is going to be paid through the payroll then our accounts department will need the following documents from them:

  • P45 (if they don’t have a P45, then a completed ‘HMRC New Starter Checklist’ is needed.

  • Copy of passport or other photo ID that proves their eligibility to work in the UK

  • Invoice detailing their name, address, contact details, bank details, job number, job role and amount to be paid.

New Stater Forms & HMRC New Stater Checklists are saved in the templates folder on the shared drive.
