Some clients will have their own insurance. If this is the case, please request copies of their insurance certificates ahead of the shoot, and check with Peter Allan at Towergate that they offer the right level of cover.
EDITORIAL:
Where possible, Creative Blood does not insure editorial shoots, the insurance has to come direct from the magazine/artist.
Please request copies of the insurance certificates at the beginning of each editorial job to make sure that their policy offers the right level of cover. It must include Public liability insurance and equipment insurance.
If in doubt, please share insurance certificates with Towergate who will advise if an additional policy needs to be taken out and paid for by the magazine/artist.
Insurance certificates will need to be shared with locations/councils for their approval prior to the shoot.
If a publication isn’t able to insure their own shoots (e.g if based in the US), please check with your Executive Producer before agreeing cover their shoot under the Creative Blood insurance, as a fee to cover the insurance will need to be agreed, and may not be the standard agency 3%.
